Post Concert reaction from Grafenegg - Aug 31, 2017

WQED-FM's Jim Cunningham was having a dinner with members of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and Manfred Honeck - but found enough time to slip out and call in with a report of the first of two concerts from Grafenegg.  He was joined by the COO of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, Christian Schornich, along with Principal Oboist, Cynthia Koledo DeAlmeida.   

A Day Off in Salzburg - Aug 30, 2017

It's a day off for the  Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in Salzburg.  WQED-FM's Jim Cunningham calls in live to Anna Singer to talk about last night's concert which concluded the Salzburg Festival.   Manfred Honeck talks about the concert and the tour so far.  And cellist Allie Thompson talks about playing next to a casino in Wiesbaden and what she's looking forward to on the rest of the tour.

Morning Report from Wiesbaden Germany - Aug 28, 2017

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra has arrived in Germany safe and sound to begin their European Festivals Tour.  Jim Cunningham calls in live from Wiesbaden with his first report of the tour.   He talks about the first rehearsal and the German city.  We also hear from some members who went for a run in the streets of Wiesbaden to train for a musicians run planned for Pittsburgh in September.
